As a Business Analyst at HSO specializing in Syspro, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients' business requirements and the technical implementation of the Syspro ERP system. You will work closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and identify improvement opportunities. Your insights will guide our teams in delivering tailored solutions that drive efficiency and enhance performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand their business processes and gather detailed requirements for Syspro implementations.
- Analyze and document existing systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of custom solutions.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate functionality against client requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of the Syspro system.
- Continuously monitor and assess system performance and user satisfaction to recommend enhancements.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation outlining business requirements, process flows, and systems functionalities.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to communicate project status, issues, and milestones.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with a focus on ERP systems, preferably Syspro.
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., IIBA or similar) are highly regarded.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in using Syspro ERP software.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience in the Food/Beverage industries.
- Understanding of SQL and database management is a plus.
