Job Overview

LAMB is looking to hire an enthusiastic coordinator to help with the day-to-day operations of our building, including transportation, student drop-off and pick-up, staff coverage, purchasing, and facility maintenance, among other areas. Apply today! 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help plan and oversee student drop off and pick up activities
  • Provide leadership and full oversight of all front desk operations
  • Help the Front Desk process late arrivals
  • Spearhead efforts to follow up on chronic absent students
  • Manage, track, and present meal count data with accuracy and consistency, ensuring all records align with compliance requirements
  • Prepare and deliver required documentation and presentations for the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) at the beginning of the school year, ensuring full compliance with federal and local guidelines
  • Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets related to lunch counts, student meal tracking, and reporting systems, ensuring all data is organized, up to date, and user-friendly for staff reference
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during internal and external audits, ensuring all required documentation is prepared, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner
  • Oversee daily lunch procedures to ensure adherence to protocols, including accurate meal counts, proper documentation, and alignment with food service guidelines
  • Work closely with operations, front desk, and instructional staff to ensure smooth implementation of lunch procedures and timely resolution of any issues
  • Cover for Operations Team members when absent (front desk, food services, nurse station, etc.)
  • Help implement annual safety drills and other safety protocols as part of the school emergency response team
  • Assist with medical needs, including dispensing medications, if needed
  • Address facilities issues as assigned
  • Set up and break down activities and events at the school including professional development days, PTO events, family engagement activities, and staff lunches, among others
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications 

  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • HS Diploma/GED required; Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Experience with database and reporting systems
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, positive attitude 
  • 5+ years of operations or related experience preferred
  • Experience working in a school or community service setting
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to parent, staff, and student needs and information 
  • Meet all employment requirements including a background check

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Operations Director

Schedule: 12-month full-time position, from 7:00 am to 3:15 pm

Compensation

Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $50,000-70,000. Generous benefits package includes medical insurance (health, dental, & vision), retirement plan, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending account (medical, dependent care, and transit), and personal/sick leave.
