Analog Devices is continuing to grow the software, systems, and services capabilities to support customer projects on scale. The Customer Applications Engineering role is key to this initiative and will be responsible for customer productivity for commercial technical support engagements. The Customer Applications Engineering team will work with customers, internal applications, and design teams globally and across internal teams to get questions answered for commercial support customers in a timely manner. The Customer Applications Engineer will ensure customer productivity by understanding the customer, their environment & project objectives/timelines and will be one of a small number of ADI personnel to interact directly with the customer related to their support needs. The metrics for success for this role will be customer retention contract renewal, customer productivity (as measured by an independent survey) and adherence to or modification of ADI internal systems to have a sustained world-class support experience for ADI commercial support customers. Role & Responsibility
- This role is designed as customer and field facing, with a focus on customer productivity.
- This role will work with commercial support customers, internal teams, and external subcontractors to achieve timely, complete answers to questions.
- Successful candidates will have experience in systems and software, a customer suitable demeanor, the ability to use standard ADI internal systems (i.e. Jira, MSD) and a capability to learn and engage across ADI.

Requirements
- Location USA or Ireland
- Experienced Applications Engineering, Systems Engineering, Field Application Engineering background
- Use and change ADI standard processes for software, systems and services support
- Strong communication & collaboration skills
- Proven engagement with field sales, customers, partners, and sub-contractors
- BS EE, CE or CS – technical background required.
- Travel Required: minimal
