AMP Sports is seeking a visionary, commercially minded Senior Vice President of Sports Podcast Revenue to lead revenue strategy, advertiser partnerships, sponsorship development, and commercial performance across its growing sports podcast portfolio. This executive will identify, develop, and scale high-value revenue opportunities across podcasts, digital video, social-first programming, talent-led franchises, and multi-platform sports experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the sales strategy, client growth plan, and revenue performance for AMP Sports’ podcast and audio portfolio.
  • Develop and grow direct advertiser, agency, sponsorship, branded-content and strategic-partnership revenue opportunities.
  • Identify high-potential sports franchises, talent-led properties, audience segments, and cultural moments that can be transformed into scalable commercial offerings.
  • Partner with AMP Sales & Marketing Solutions to create compelling sales narratives, sponsorship packages, integrated marketing programs, and advertiser solutions.
  • Work alongside Sports Partnerships & Activations to develop premium partnership opportunities involving athletes, teams, leagues, live events, and brand activations.
  • Establish revenue targets, forecasts, pipeline discipline, pricing strategy, inventory models, and performance reporting for the business.
  • Build commercially viable packaging across podcast, video, social, digital, live, broadcast, and other relevant Sinclair platforms.
  • Develop relationships with senior brand marketers, agencies, media buyers, sports partners, platforms, talent representatives, and other strategic partners.
  • Identify new revenue streams, including branded content, custom programs, affiliate opportunities, licensing, commerce, events, subscriptions, and emerging platform monetization.
  • Partner with content, audience, analytics, legal, finance, and business affairs teams to ensure commercial opportunities are executable, brand-safe, and aligned with rights obligations.
  • Use audience data, market intelligence, advertiser feedback, and revenue performance to inform commercial strategy, product development, and investment priorities.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing commercial team with clear accountability, strong collaboration, and a results-oriented culture.
  • Represent AMP Sports externally with clients, agencies, platforms, partners, and industry leaders.


What You’ll Bring

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in sports media, podcasting, audio, digital media, advertising, sponsorship, partnerships, or a related commercial media business.
  • 8+ years leading senior sales, revenue, partnerships, business development, or commercial strategy teams.
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue for sports, audio, podcast, video, social, streaming, television, or talent-led media properties.
  • Deep understanding of advertising sales, sponsorship development, branded content, agency relationships, media monetization, and evolving sports-media consumption habits.
  • Experience developing multi-platform commercial packages across audio, video, social, digital, live events, and traditional media.
  • Strong financial and business judgment, including forecasting, pricing, inventory management, revenue planning, and performance analysis.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships with brands, agencies, platforms, sports properties, talent, and strategic partners.
  • Experience negotiating or overseeing complex advertising, sponsorship, distribution, licensing, talent, or partnership agreements in partnership with legal and business affairs.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • High integrity and sound judgment in matters involving brand safety, rights, talent relationships, advertiser commitments, and audience trust.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience monetizing a sports podcast, audio, digital-video, social, streaming, or multi-platform media portfolio.
  • Established relationships with national advertisers, media agencies, sports marketers, leagues, teams, talent representatives, and platform partners.
  • Experience launching new commercial products, scaling a revenue organization, or building monetization infrastructure during a period of rapid growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; advanced degree is a plus.

About AMP Sports

AMP Sports creates distinctive sports storytelling and fan experiences across podcasts, digital video, social, creator-led content, and emerging platforms. As part of Sinclair, the group combines an entrepreneurial approach with broad reach, strategic relationships, and the resources to build meaningful audiences and scalable media properties.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $250,000 to $325,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary quarterly and annual bonus which would be awarded based on individual and company performance. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.

Skills Required
