SVP, Revenue

The leader of every function that touches our customer

We Know Training (WKT) ·  In-office (Edmonton, AB)  · Full-Time
Reports to:
President & COO

You lead:  Demand Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience & Operations

About the work

We Know Training runs credentialing infrastructure for regulated industries. When a professional has to earn, prove, or renew a credential, we are the rails underneath that moment. It is real work. It is needed. And the market is bigger than most people realize.

Here is the honest part. Our revenue engine works, but it is not yet a system. Pipeline lives in too many heads. Leads and renewals slip through the gaps between teams. We are growing anyway. Now picture what happens when it is built right. That is the job.

The Seat

You own WKT's customer-facing engine, end to end. If it touches the customer, from the first click to the renewal, it is yours. Three functions report to you:

  • Demand Marketing. How customers discover us and decide to buy. Positioning, journeys, paid and organic acquisition, lifecycle and content across every property and brand.
  • How we win organizations and institutions. The enterprise bench, the named-account motion, and the discipline that keeps the pipeline honest.
  • Customer Experience & Operations. How we serve and keep customers. Support, fulfillment, onboarding, storefront provisioning, in-person training, and the recurring base you protect and grow.

Underneath these three sits the Engine Room: the data, automation, and CRM layer that makes them run as one system instead of three. You own that too, and you build it.

You carry one number across three kinds of customers: individuals, organizations, and institutions, each of which engages us differently. Every seam between these functions escalates to your chair. You are the person who makes the whole customer-facing motion work as one.

What you will do in year one

  • Build one source of truth for pipeline, so a forecast actually means something across all three customer types.
  • Stand up a weekly scorecard in our real numbers, not borrowed benchmarks, and run the operating cadence on it.
  • Close the seams between Demand Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience & Operations, so no lead or renewal falls through a gap.
  • Stand up the Engine Room, warehouse, automation, and CRM discipline, while running today's motions so revenue never stalls during the build.
  • Put a go/no-go gate on every launch, with named criteria and an owner who can pull it.
  • Seat and shape the sales bench on scored named-account lists, and protect the recurring base with a measurable recapture program.
  • And hit the number while you do it.

You

You have carried a revenue target and hit it, ideally in a business that sold more than one way. You have turned an ad-hoc team into a machine before. You have personally built a revenue and demand stack, warehouse, marketing automation, CRM, not just inherited one. You read data and can tell when a number is lying. You can hold a real conversation with an engineer, a media buyer, and an enterprise seller in the same afternoon. You pull teams into one motion without trying to run their jobs. You say the hard thing early. The title matters less to you than the build. Typically this comes with 10 or more years of progressively senior revenue and operations leadership.

How we work

We run on EOS. Rocks, a weekly scorecard, Level 10 meetings, clear seats. We are persona-led, which means we design around how each kind of customer actually engages us, not around our org chart. We build for the dominant case first and treat the edges as exceptions. We are direct, low-ego, and practical. We prize accuracy over agreement.

Our stack today includes a data warehouse, an automation layer, Customer.io for lifecycle, and a CRM the whole function will live in. You will finish building it and then run it. If that sounds like oxygen, you will like it here. If it sounds exhausting, you will not.
