Since 1972, Covenant House has served and advocated for youth and young families experiencing homelessness, human trafficking, and exploitation. About the Role

The Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships is a strategic and entrepreneurial revenue leader responsible for developing and executing Covenant House International's corporate partnership strategy. Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, the SVP will lead a high-performing team responsible for retaining, growing, and stewarding an existing portfolio of corporate partners while securing significant new corporate relationships across a diverse range of partnership types.

The SVP will drive revenue growth through philanthropic grants, corporate sponsorships, employee giving and engagement programs, cause marketing campaigns, point-of-sale and customer fundraising initiatives, licensing arrangements, and other innovative partnership models. This leader will possess deep experience across the full spectrum of nonprofit-corporate partnerships and demonstrate the ability to identify emerging trends and create new pathways for sustainable revenue generation.

As a senior leader within the organization, the SVP will help shape revenue strategy, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and serve as an ambassador for Covenant House's mission and values. The position requires an exceptional people leader capable of developing and empowering teams responsible for new business development, recurring partnerships, fulfillment of partner benefits, corporate employee engagement, and strategic relationship management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Corporate Partnership Strategy and Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate partnerships strategy that advances Covenant House International's revenue goals and supports long-term organizational growth

  • Maintain and grow a portfolio of high-value corporate partners while personally managing relationships with key executives and strategic accounts

  • Lead efforts to secure new corporate partnerships through grants, sponsorships, employee engagement programs, cause marketing initiatives, customer fundraising campaigns, event sponsorships, licensing opportunities, and other revenue-generating partnerships

  • Identify, evaluate, and implement innovative partnership models that create both philanthropic and earned revenue opportunities

  • Establish revenue goals, performance metrics, and growth strategies for all corporate partnership channels

  • Monitor market trends and corporate social impact priorities to identify new partnership opportunities and competitive advantages

Relationship Management and Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with senior corporate executives, corporate foundation leaders, marketing leaders, human resources leaders, corporate social responsibility teams, and other key decision-makers

  • Develop customized partnership strategies that align corporate objectives with Covenant House's mission, programs, and impact

  • Oversee the successful stewardship, renewal, and expansion of existing partnerships to maximize long-term value and retention

  • Collaborate with major gifts colleagues to coordinate engagement strategies for corporate executives who are also current or prospective individual donors

  • Ensure exceptional delivery of partnership benefits, reporting, recognition, and impact communications

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for new business development, account management, stewardship, benefit fulfillment, employee engagement programs, and partnership operations

  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Set clear goals and performance expectations while supporting professional growth and leadership development among team members

  • Provide strategic guidance, coaching, and oversight to ensure strong fundraising performance and high-quality partner experiences

  • Serve as a member of the senior revenue leadership team and contribute to organization-wide strategic planning and decision making

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with colleagues across philanthropy, development, marketing and communications, programs, finance, legal, operations, and executive leadership to develop and execute integrated partnership opportunities

  • Lead coordination across departments for large-scale initiatives, including cause marketing campaigns, national sponsorships, employee engagement programs, corporate volunteer initiatives, and special events

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop compelling partnership assets, storytelling opportunities, and engagement campaigns

  • Ensure alignment among corporate partnership activities, institutional fundraising efforts, brand strategy, and organizational priorities

Organizational Leadership and Mission Alignment

  • Serve as a visible and credible leader who reflects Covenant House's values of compassion, respect, integrity, and service

  • Champion a culture that centers the needs and dignity of young people experiencing homelessness and trafficking

  • Model inclusive leadership practices and promote collaboration, transparency, and accountability throughout the organization

  • Represent Covenant House International at conferences, industry events, partner meetings, and other external engagements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Deep expertise in the corporate philanthropy and nonprofit partnership landscape, including corporate grants, sponsorships, employee giving, workplace campaigns, matching gifts, volunteer engagement, cause marketing, consumer promotion programs, licensing arrangements, and earned revenue partnerships

  • Demonstrated ability to create and scale innovative partnership strategies that generate significant revenue and long-term value

  • Strong understanding of corporate social responsibility, ESG, purpose-driven marketing, brand partnerships, and employee engagement trends

  • Exceptional business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills

  • Proven ability to develop compelling partnership proposals and value propositions tailored to corporate objectives

  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue planning, and portfolio analysis

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and influencing skills

  • Ability to engage and inspire C-suite executives and other senior stakeholders

  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive fundraising, business development, corporate partnerships, sponsorship, marketing partnerships, or related experience, with significant leadership responsibility

  • Proven track record of securing and growing multimillion-dollar corporate partnerships and consistently achieving ambitious revenue goals

  • Demonstrated success managing both new business acquisition and long-term relationship portfolios

  • Experience leading teams responsible for corporate prospecting, account management, partnership fulfillment, sponsorship activation, and employee engagement

  • Extensive experience working across multiple partnership channels, including philanthropic grants, sponsorships, employee giving programs, cause marketing, and earned revenue initiatives

  • Experience developing integrated partnership opportunities involving multiple organizational stakeholders and departments

  • Demonstrated success collaborating with executive leadership, board members, and external stakeholders

  • Experience engaging corporate executives as both institutional partners and individual philanthropic supporters is strongly preferred

Travel Requirements

  • Expected to travel nationally up to 30% for in-person meetings with partners and CHI team meetings as needed
