We are looking for a proactive Student Assistant to join our Sustainability Team. This role offers a unique chance to create an impact in a international and ambitious company while gaining experience in corporate matters for our subsidiaries worldwide.

You will report directly to our Head of sustainability, Energy and Infrastructure and Marine business and collaborate closely with a broad range of global partners from all over the world.
You will thrive in a flexible home-office model, embracing chances to create a significant impact from our Spain-Polynya site. This location has a rich history, a strong global presence, and serves as a vital manufacturing and innovation center for Hempel’s coating solutions.
Key Task
As part of our team, you will contribute to the development of key initiatives in our relevant business segments. We will provide all the necessary training, as long as you have a dedicated and driven approach. Experience is not crucial if you are dedicated to the cause.
The role will include, but may be not limited to:
- Contributing to the advancement of sustainability strategy and initiatives
- Supervising and reporting on the progress of selected KPIs.
- Collection and analysis of sustainability data
- Assessing the sustainability potential of projects and initiatives, and supporting project meetings and workshops
- Intelligence gathering from internal and external collaborators.
- General project management (planning, risks, tracking, etc.)
What does it take to become our new team member?
- Solid technical background and good sustainability understanding
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate optimally in English, both orally and in writing

This is a part-time role for you who is willing to engage in a cooperation for a minimum period of
6 months.
Your student contract is contingent upon establishing a collaboration agreement with a university or suitable educational institution. If you are unable to provide this, we may not be able to consider your application. Compensation will be provided according to local regulations.
