About the role
As the Sustainability and Innovation Intern (12-month full-time internship), you will have the opportunity to contribute to Cintra’s success by supporting the company’s Sustainability and Innovation strategies. You will be located at our Madrid Headquarters and will be a contributing member of Cintra’s Innovation, Research, and Sustainability Department. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Madrid-based Sustainability Manager with sustainability reporting efforts and due diligence analysis, as well as working with the US-based Innovation team on efforts ranging from reviewing new technology solutions to assisting with data analysis for research projects.
Key Responsibilities
Support sustainability reporting efforts for subsidiaries, including coordinating data collections, analysis, drafting, and proofing.
Assist in developing sustainability presentations and dashboards for target setting and monitoring of achievements and other sustainability topics.
Assist in developing sustainability due diligence assessments.
Assist with data analysis for innovation and research initiatives.
Assist with tracking new technologies and trends, and crafting presentations and reports.
Assist with coordination of innovation efforts in the Madrid office.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sustainability, or a related field.
Advanced level of Spanish and English (C1-C2) is a must since you will be working in our Madrid HQ and collaborating with our US team.
Passion for sustainability and innovation.
Superior writing and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills to collect, interpret, and present data and metrics effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI).
