What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate closely with startups participating in our Sustainability Innovation Programs to define, monitor, and evaluate their approaches to impact measurement.
- Foster a culture of impact accountability and build internal capacity within portfolio startups to measure, manage, and communicate their contributions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Contribute to the design and development of comprehensive impact measurement strategies, tools, and frameworks identifying company-specific key performance indicators alongside technical mentors and 500 staff.
- Develop and operationalize frameworks for assessing the environmental, social, and financial impact of startups supported through the Sustainability Innovation Programs.
- Develop and implement data collection tools and systems, integrating with the firm’s data collection processes and systems, including managing and maintaining databases of impact data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Lead the evaluation and analysis of impact data collected from startups, developing relevant metrics and indicators to track progress and performance over time.
- Preparing data-driven reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, effectively translating impact metrics into actionable recommendations and strategic guidance.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in impact measurement, monitoring, and evaluation, either with non-profit foundations, financial institutions, consultancy businesses, or social impact organizations, including impact-driven startups in the sustainability space
- Bachelor or Master degree in relevant discipline such as Statistics, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, or a relevant quantitative or policy-oriented sectors
- Experience with data tracking management and processes
- Proven ability to present complex impact data in intuitive, visual formats
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects across disciplines, with a track record of aligning diverse internal and external partners toward shared impact goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional, globally distributed teams; excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Fluent in English and one or more regional languages
