Our Warsaw team is at the forefront of alternative asset management, providing top-tier investment fund performance data worldwide. Since 2013, ICG has committed to sustainability and ESG by signing the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).

As a Reporting Manager for sustainability & ESG data, you will help create and implement frameworks to track ICG’s sustainability efforts in investments.

This role offers a unique opportunity to advance sustainability and ESG reporting in asset management. Based in Warsaw, you will collaborate with our global Sustainability & ESG Team and international investment strategies teams.

To be successful in this role…

You will play a vital role in preparing sustainability and ESG-related reports for our investors and internal stakeholders. We are seeking strong technical expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools, and ideally a grasp of ESG metrics and sustainability reporting. The role necessitates collaboration with various stakeholders including the Sustainability & ESG Team, analysts from deal teams and Data and Performance Reporting Teams, as well as operations and compliance. Together, we will ensure the delivery of accurate and timely ESG disclosures that meet investor expectations. Primary Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Sustainability and ESG Reporting: Streamline the collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data across the company's private markets strategies. Generate comprehensive reports for investors that effectively showcase sustainability performance and ESG integration in alignment with relevant regulations and standards, such as SFDR, TCFD,and ESRS.

  • Data Analysis: Employ advanced data tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, Python, or R) to conduct in-depth analysis of ESG data to provide deal teams and the Sustainability & ESG team with actionable insight. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and transparency are upheld in all reported information.

  • ESG Integration: Collaborate closely with the Sustainability & ESG Team to provide valuable insights on progress towards a variety of KPIs and metrics.

  • Technical Expertise: Work alongside the Technology Department and Data Management Team to implement and maintain a robust ESG data architecture. Contribute to automating and streamlining ESG data collection, processing, and reporting processes.

  • Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of the latest ESG trends, regulations, and best practices within the industry. Continuously enhance reporting methodologies and support the company's ongoing ESG data analysis and reporting initiatives through regular improvement efforts.

Key Requirements/ Qualifications

You will have demonstrable experience of: 

Essential

  • A solid foundation of at least 3-5 years in ESG Reporting within the realm of Investment Fund Management, Banking, or Alternative Asset Management Services.

  • Awareness of ESG-related regulations and standards, such as SFDR, TCFD,ESRS and EU Taxonomy.

  • A self-driven individual who is adept at prioritizing tasks and managing time independently. You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Mastery in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in utilizing tools like pivot tables to navigate and present complex datasets effectively.

  • Exceptional command of the English language, with a focus on clarity and precision in all forms of communication.

Desirable

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, leveraging its powerful features to distill insights from complex data.

  • Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, particularly using SQL and Power Query, to streamline data integration.

  • Qualifications such as CFA ESG or SCR GARP are considered a significant advantage.
