Join us to do the best work of your career as a Sustainability Analyst in our growing Building Performance Group in Boston, MA. (Hybrid role)
As a Sustainability Analyst, you will collaborate internally with our sustainability project managers, energy analysts, project managers, and engineers as well as externally with our design & construction partners to help clients reach and exceed their sustainability goals. You will help clients to maximize the full potential of each project through our design experience; energy, daylight, water, and carbon analyses; and certification achievements.
Some of your responsibilities will include the following:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including owners, architects, project managers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, plumbing engineers, contractors, and other design professionals from early design through construction and project closeout.
- Perform and document renewable energy, carbon, wellness, water, daylight, etc. analyses for project goals and certifications (LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL, etc.).
- Organize, advise, and track design and construction activities toward a sustainable performance goal such as a certification or client standard
- Develop in-house tools and educational content for new sustainability trends and design approaches.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- 0-3 years of professional experience in building sustainable design analysis, architectural design, or design engineering in a consulting environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, mechanical engineering, energy systems, architectural engineering, or related field.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/visual communication skills.
- Eagerness to grow professionally and develop new skills.
- LEED AP BD+C and/or ID+C accreditation, or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
Additional skills considered a plus
- LEED GA, CEM, CPHC, WELL AP, and/or Fitwel Ambassador accreditation
- Sustainability analysis, graphic design, and/or data visualization experience including software such as Revit, Grasshopper, Radiance, eQuest, Rhino, Ladybug Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign), etc.

This is a high visibility role and the total compensation that we expect to pay for this position is dependent on years of experience, licensure, education and project portfolio but expected to be in the $60,000 to $90,000 range.
