The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Program Leadership:
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise district-wide expanded learning and after school programs.
- Develop and implement program goals aligned with district priorities, and state Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) and After School Education and Safety (ASES) requirements.
- Monitor program quality using state quality standards and continuous improvement practices.
- Evaluate program effectiveness using student participation, attendance, academic, behavioral, and stakeholder feedback data.
- Recommend program improvements based on measurable outcomes.
Administrative Support:
- Recruit, interview, train, supervise, mentor, and evaluate site coordinators and program staff.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to ensure high-quality programming.
- Establish staff schedules and oversee staffing assignments.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor operations, compliance, safety, and instructional quality.
- Address personnel concerns with accordance with district policies.
Program Operations:
- Ensure programs maintain compliance with all federals, state, county, and district regulations.
- Monitor attendance reporting, student enrollment, program documentation, and required grant reporting.
- Coordinate student behavior management systems and restorative practices.
- Oversee program safety procedures, emergency preparedness, and risk management protocols.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures and program handbooks.
- Assist in developing and monitoring program budgets.
- Ensure expenditures comply with grant requirements and district fiscal procedures.
- Monitor contracts, purchase requests, supplies, and equipment.
- Assist with grant applications and funding sustainability efforts.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, counselors, and support staff to align after school programming with student academic and social-emotional needs.
- Communicate effectively with families and community stakeholders regarding program services and student participation.
- Prepare reports for district leadership, governing boards, and funding agencies.
- Coordinate program audits, monitoring visits, and corrective action plans.
- Maintain accurate records and confidential information.
- Attend evening and weekend meetings, training, and community events as required.
- Perform other duties assigned by primary supervisor.

Computer Skills

Driving
Driving may be an essential function of this position. All candidates must have:
- Reliable transportation
- A valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
- The ability to qualify for the agency’s insurance coverage
- The ability to travel to all program sites as needed
