Preferred Experience
- Perform and oversee topographic, boundary, construction, and as-built surveys
- Prepare and maintain site maps, plats, alignments, and geospatial data
- Support civil, structural, and utility design with accurate survey inputs
- Coordinate survey activities with engineering, construction, and project management teams
- Utilize GPS, total stations, drones, and LiDAR technologies
- Process and analyze field data using industry-standard software
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations
- Assist with easements, right-of-way documentation, and permitting support
- Maintain accurate records and survey control networks for long-term site development
- Support future site expansion and infrastructure planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS/RPLS) license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
- 5+ years of experience in land surveying and mapping, preferably on industrial or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency with survey and GIS software (e.g., Civil 3D, Trimble, Leica, ArcGIS)
- Strong understanding of construction staking, site grading, and utility layouts
- Experience working on medium, large, multi-phase sites is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills
