As a KeyBank intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on various projects and networking with management and other professionals in selected areas during your 10-week program. Upon successful completion of the internship program, you will have the opportunity to be considered for a full-time role upon college graduation of your bachelor or graduate degree. The four cornerstones of the internship program include: Surveillance Financial Analyst tasks, a Stretch Project, Loan Servicing & Asset Management 101 courses, and Networking.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Evaluate and monitor the financial performance of income producing properties that secure loans serviced by KeyBank.
- Review and analyze operating statements. Note changes in income, expenses or other significant issues and refer to manager any significant observations.
- Review rent rolls. Note tenant defaults, major lease expirations or other significant changes and refer to manager any significant observations.
- Correspond with borrowers to receive required documentation as scheduled.
- Assist Surveillance Analyst with watch list commentary.
- Review annual property inspections

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Coursework in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Candidate has completed “Junior” year of college (or equivalent credit hours) or is in Graduate school
- GPA Minimum Requirement: 3.2
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented

- Software: Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook
TRAINING REQUIRED
- Classroom and on-the-job mentor training program. Continuing and ongoing training as needed.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $18.00 - $23.08 per hour. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.Please click here for a list of benefits for which this position is eligible.
