Description
Bright Thinker is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Support Specialist to provide internal technology support while assisting with the administration, integration, and ongoing optimization of the company's core business platforms. This hybrid position serves as the primary technical resource for Bright Thinker employees, supporting day-to-day technology needs while helping maintain critical business systems including Shopify, Salesforce, DocuSign, Sage Intacct, ShipHero, Agilix Buzz, Google, and other integrated applications.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver with strong technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot, coordinate, and manage software integrations across multiple departments.
Requirements
Internal Team Technical Support
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to Bright Thinker employees.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
- Assist users with Google applications
- Maintain user accounts, permissions, and system access.
- Document support requests and resolutions.
- Provide training and guidance on internal software applications.
- Support Bright Thinker's Shopify storefront operations.
- Assist with product setup, collections, pricing, inventory synchronization, and customer support.
- Troubleshoot storefront issues.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding Shopify applications and integrations.
- Assist with order management workflows and fulfillment processes.
- Support payment gateway and marketplace integrations.
Assist with implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for integrations including:
- Salesforce CRM
- DocuSign
- Shopify
- ShipHero Warehouse Management System
- Sage Intacct
- FedEx & UPS shipping systems
- ClassWallet
- ESA Marketplace integrations
- Agilix Buzz LMS
- Additional third-party APIs and business applications
- Monitor software integrations for failures or synchronization issues.
- Assist with testing new software releases.
- Coordinate vendor support tickets.
- Document workflows and technical procedures.
- Recommend improvements to increase automation and efficiency.
- Assist schools with technical onboarding.
- Help troubleshoot LMS access and account issues.
- Support implementation of Bright Thinker digital products.
- Coordinate with Client Services during software rollouts.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate vendors.
Participate in strategic technology initiatives such as:
- Shopify enhancements
- Warehouse automation projects
- Salesforce optimization
- Digital curriculum integrations
- LMS implementations
- Process automation initiatives
- Software testing and quality assurance
Skills Required
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support experience
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, scanners, and peripherals
- Experience with Google applications / Google Workspace
- Shopify administration and storefront support (product setup, inventory sync, order workflows)
- Experience supporting integrations and APIs (Salesforce, DocuSign, Sage Intacct, ShipHero, FedEx/UPS, ClassWallet, ESA Marketplace)
- User account, permissions, and system access administration
- LMS support and technical onboarding experience (Agilix Buzz or similar)
- Experience coordinating vendor support and documenting technical procedures
- Software testing and quality assurance participation
- Order management and fulfillment workflow knowledge
