Baker Hughes Digital Technology team is looking for a motivated and proactive professional with exceptional skills in Application Support and maintenance. As an Application Maintenance and Support Manager you will be responsible for end-to-end maintenance, improvement, enhancement, and support of ValvStream, a Rulestream based DCM application. You will be responsible to define and maintain policies and procedures on ValvStream maintenance and support services and will work closely with all stakeholders like End Users, Product Owners, Development & Support Team(s), Product Vendor etc to ensure that everything is dealt with according to the agreed policies procedures in best interest of business. You will also provide appropriate guidance to the stakeholders.
As a Support Lead-Rulestream Applications, you will be responsible for:
- Defining policies and procedures for maintenance and support of application(s) and ensure that they are aligned to organizational and regulatory requirements of application.
- Working with various types of stakeholders and ensure that everything related to the application is dealt as per the agreed policies and procedures.
- Developing and implementing a ValvStream application support model to ensure timely disposition, allocation, and effective resolution of incidents & service requests.
- Working closely with key users and gather Voice of Customer (VoC). Convert the VoC into meaningful requirements/ideas which can lead to improvement of user experience.
- Leading and managing ValvStream development and support teams.
- Working with key stakeholders and decide task prioritization.
- Collaborating with stakeholders of ValvStream and other applications and address issues and new requirements.
- Planning and managing application release, patch and upgrades.
- Liaisoning with Rulestream Product Vendor and other Product Vendors to discuss and fix any platform/tool related defects.
- Driving smooth organizational change management when there are substantial changes to the business process, ways of working, application functionality etc.
- Working with tools chain used for seamlessly maintaining the application and providing support to end users and other stakeholders.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any other related field.
- Have a Minimum of 12 years of experience in maintenance and support of various IT Enterprise Applications, with at least 7 years in leadership position.
- Have Extensive experience of Traditional and Agile Application Development Methodology
- Have Detailed knowledge of Traditional and Modern ITSM support model and demonstrated experience in implementing them.
- Be able to demonstrate strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management, including deployment, maintenance, and support.
- Be able to demonstrate in-depth understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Have Experience with at least 2 widely used application monitoring tools. Example: Dynatrace, Splunk
- Have Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Have Experience in working with cross functional stakeholders i.e. end users, product owners, development and support team, product owners of other integrated applications etc. and communicating appropriately
