Every Mission Needs a Technical Bridge
We’re looking for a highly technical, organized, and curious Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at BlueMarvel. This role sits at the critical intersection of Customer Success and Engineering, acting as the technical bridge that ensures our customers thrive and our product remains robust.
As a Support Engineer, you aren’t just answering tickets — you are a problem-solver who understands the “why” behind the data. You will triage complex issues, automate repetitive workflows, and translate deep technical hurdles into clear, actionable language for our clients.
If you love digging into hard problems, communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, and making a real impact in a fast-moving startup environment, this role was built for you.
Key Responsibilities
Tier 1 & 2 Technical Support
- Act as the primary technical point of contact, triaging incoming requests and escalating high-priority bugs or feature gaps to the Engineering team with clarity and urgency.
DevOps & Infrastructure Support
- Manage and troubleshoot environment issues with a heavy focus on Docker-based deployments, ensuring our enterprise customers stay up and running.
Configuration Management
- Work fluently with JSON and complex application configurations to tailor the BlueMarvel experience for enterprise clients.
Automation & Scripting
- Identify inefficiencies and write Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks and internal workflows, freeing up time for higher-value work across the team.
Data Visualization & Insight
- Conceptualize and understand large datasets, picturing how they flow through and are utilized within the application — and helping customers do the same.
Technical Translation
- Distill complex technical conversations and engineering updates into simple, professional, and easy-to-understand language for customers and internal stakeholders alike.
Technical Requirements
- Stack Experience: Proven experience with Python, JavaScript, and MERN stack applications.
- Containerization: Strong, hands-on experience with Docker is a must.
- Communication: Fluent and professional English (written and spoken) required for high-touch customer interaction.
- Technical Mindset: A natural curiosity for how software works under the hood and a relentless drive to solve puzzles.
- Code Literacy: The ability to read and understand source code to identify bugs or logic flows is a significant plus.
