Customer Support Agent - Support Desk

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our Customer Service/Support team. This individual will serve as the front line in receiving support calls. The Support Desk Engineer is responsible for responding to Mujin’s customer support requests and routing/escalating as needed to ensure client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in multiple platforms of software, web hosting, website development/management, phone apps, and user interfaces. This individual will play a key role in developing, managing, and optimizing software solutions across various platforms. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide service response while upholding excellent customer service standards to Mujin’s clients
• Serve as the front line in receiving support calls and routing/escalating issues as required to ensure client satisfaction
• Communicate regularly with the Service Desk Manager regarding recurring issues and signs of frustration from clients
• Software Development: Develop and maintain software solutions across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and desktop applications, using a variety of programming languages and frameworks 
• Web Hosting and Management: Manage web hosting environments, ensuring uptime, security, and performance optimization for client websites and applications 
• Website Development and Management: Design, develop, and maintain websites, implementing user-friendly interfaces and ensuring seamless functionality and accessibility 
• Mobile App Development: Develop and optimize mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, incorporating user interface design principles and best practices 
• User Interface Design: Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications, focusing on usability and user experience optimization 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field 
• Minimum of one year of experience in software development, web hosting, website development/management, phone apps, or user interface design 
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, AWS, Git, and analysis techniques 
• Strong verbal and writing skills for effective communication 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet project deadlines 
• Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle 
• Technical proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/Tailwind, SQL, and REST APIs/JSON 
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and other relevant development tools 
• Willingness to travel up to 35% for client meetings, project deployments, and team collaboration
