Support Data Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a Support Data Analyst to join a dynamic Data Operations team focused on ensuring data quality, resolving data discrepancies, and supporting healthcare analytics platforms. This role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity and operational efficiency while contributing to IQVIA's mission of advancing healthcare through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot incidents and data-related issues.
- Investigate data discrepancies and determine root causes.
- Document, communicate, and provide analysis of data quality issues.
- Create and execute SQL queries for data validation and verification purposes.
- Review application code and identify technical solutions or workarounds when necessary.
- Monitor data trends and communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production operations and change requests.
- Apply operational support best practices, including ITIL-based processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Databricks
- Hadoop
- Spark (Scala-based environments)
- PySpark (Python)
- Snowflake
- Kubernetes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Hive, Impala, DBeaver, Kafka, CML, or Java.
- Knowledge of healthcare data and healthcare-related systems.
- Familiarity with production support environments and operational processes.
