Job Summary

We are seeking a Support Data Analyst to join a dynamic Data Operations team focused on ensuring data quality, resolving data discrepancies, and supporting healthcare analytics platforms. This role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity and operational efficiency while contributing to IQVIA's mission of advancing healthcare through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and troubleshoot incidents and data-related issues.
  • Investigate data discrepancies and determine root causes.
  • Document, communicate, and provide analysis of data quality issues.
  • Create and execute SQL queries for data validation and verification purposes.
  • Review application code and identify technical solutions or workarounds when necessary.
  • Monitor data trends and communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production operations and change requests.
  • Apply operational support best practices, including ITIL-based processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Databricks
    • Hadoop
    • Spark (Scala-based environments)
    • PySpark (Python)
    • Snowflake
    • Kubernetes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Hive, Impala, DBeaver, Kafka, CML, or Java.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data and healthcare-related systems.
  • Familiarity with production support environments and operational processes.
