Recognized for its manufacturing expertise, the Shawinigan plant specializes in assembling track systems for off‑road vehicles (ATVs and UTVs). To support activities related to material management, we are looking for a Supply Planner to join the supply and planning team.


Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Manager of Material Management and Planning, the person in this position ensures the supply of components within required timelines, while optimizing inventory levels and guaranteeing parts availability for internal and customer needs.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of components through to obsolescence.
  • Analyze consumption data to establish forecasts.
  • Plan requirements and define sourcing and storage strategies.
  • Carry out replenishment (MRP, Kanban) and ensure follow‑up.
  • Manage inventories and support warehouse operations.
  • Participate in engineering change committees (ECR/ECN).
  • Create, maintain, and optimize master data in the manufacturing system (MRP).
  • Contribute to digitalization initiatives (Power BI, WMS, etc.).
  • Participate in continuous improvement and cost‑optimization projects.
  • Perform any other related tasks connected to site activities.

Who you are

  • College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in procurement, operations management, administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills, initiative, leadership, and collaboration.
  • You are comfortable working in a bilingual environment (French and English) and have a functional ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with colleagues and international partners.
  • Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
