The Supply Chain Specialist is a critical position with significant internal and some external customer interaction. The role requires the open mindset of working in a start-up environment, where we all do our part to advance our overall mission. The individual shall provide responsive customer support with emphasis on customer satisfaction and build effective relationships with our internal and external customers. The individual will work in a team environment. This Position is a Daytime Monday-Friday role with the ability to cover some off hour emergencies.


Scope of Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Specialist responsibilities include warehouse management, inventory control and material enrollment. These duties include:

· Work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and IDL.

· Owns the material enrollment process within and outside of SAP including obtaining vendor supporting documents, where necessary.

· Responsible for ensuring accuracy of master data.

· Takes lead on coordination with shipping couriers for non-clinical outbound material shipments.

· Coordinates with shipping couriers regarding incoming client materials.

· Act as SC SME for QMS documents (CAPA, Change Control, Deviation). Complete assessments and action items assigned in a timely and thorough manner.

· Own SC Vendor Management activities including but not limited to ensuring vendor delivery dates are recorded in SAP, monitoring vendor performance against promise dates and weekly review of vendor open order reports.

· Track and trend metrics on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis.

· Work with finance to resolve GRIR issues

· Become a SME on Supply Chain processes within SAP including but not limited to receiving, label printing, material transfers, material issuances and material enrollments.

· Collaborate on Supply Chain SOP revisions as well as contribute to new documents.

· Collaborate internally and externally with a focus on continuous improvement.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Learns and adheres to workplace safety and applicable DOT and IATA regulations.

 

Qualifications

· HS diploma and 2+ years of experience working in a cGMP role required

· Experience working with little supervision

· Ability to gown and gain entry to manufacturing areas

· Ability to wear appropriate PPE and the ability to lift over 50 lbs

· Experience working for a supply chain organization in a CGMP Biotech/Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred

· Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
