This hybrid position is 4 days/week at our Downtown Toronto Head Office (Mondays to Thursdays) and Fridays (remote office) and is an individual contributor. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Specialist II for our Order Book Management team.  This role provides service and support to our Marketplace Partners team while partnering with our Distribution center.

You will succeed by utilizing reporting and insights to drive timely delivery of all Nike products to support Nike profitability. You will communicate with, develop, and maintain positive relationships with internal cross functional partners through report interpretation, tools, phone and email. You will implement desk level orderbook tasks to deliver overall orderbook and business KPIs.

The candidate needs to have strong time management skills and critical thinking, ability to adapt/embrace change, be able to build rapport and business partnerships and have refined analytical skills.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

This role will be responsible for executing end-to-end order book management, communicate effectively to relevant stakeholders, and will take initiative to identify risk and opportunities for Nike and our partners.   You will respond to questions regarding order status and tracking information, working with internal partners to resolve moderately complex customer issues, such as pricing, delivery status, routing, rejections, holds.  You will access, execute, and leverage standard and ad hoc reports to support execution to proactively track product delivery, order fill rates, validity, delivery, and returns activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across functions to maintain a shippable orderbook and drive timely resolution and escalation of order-related issues.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve key performance indicators to maximize service levels and supply chain efficiency, including ship goals and related delivery metrics.
  • Influence internal and external stakeholder decisions by leveraging data analysis, KPIs, and performance targets.
  • Conduct orderbook audits and order writing workshops to improve partner order-writing behavior and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Provide visibility into delivery performance, risks, opportunities, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Partner closely with commercial, planning, and external supply chain teams to support ship goals processes and delivery execution.
  • Provide peer mentorship and training to support team capability and consistency.
  • Manage the overall orderbook as well as launch and key initiatives.

You will report to Manager, Supply Chain Canada and will work closely with our broader cross functional team, including, Marketplace Partners, Planning and Distribution Centre.

  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes and order management.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to influence decisions and drive action.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong ability to communicate with people on different levels inside and outside of the organization.
  • Bilingual French, an asset

The annual base compensation for this position generally ranges from CAD $ 67.9K to 70K annually.  Actual compensation will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
