- Monitors and analyzes the demand for raw materials (RM’s) by planning and forecasting needs in the right amount and for a specific date
- Analyzes RM’s inventory in warehouses and suppliers on an ongoing basis in accordance with the designated inventory strategy / target
- Supervises the proper circulation of documents related to deliveries for the internal organization of PPG Tikkurila
- Issues and supervises the correct flow of orders, agreeing with suppliers the dates of order fulfillment and shipments, and prevents irregularities and threats in the implementation of deliveries
- Cooperates with customs services in the area related to the current activities of procuremet planning in order to ensure compliance with current legal regulations and procedures in force at PPG Tikkurila.
- Monitors and coordinates the process of quantity complaints in order to ensure the continuity of RM’s availability for production
- Minimizes delivery costs through cooperation with forwarders and suppliers.
- Minimizes non-rotating RM’s by monitoring, analyzing stocks and initiating and supervising the process of their management.
