Supply Chain Planning Lead – T-FIT

We are now looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Lead / Analyst to join our T-FIT business and take ownership across demand planning, supply planning and inventory planning.

This is a broad supply chain planning role with genuine ownership across demand, supply and inventory.

You will use data to make informed planning decisions, translate sales forecasts and customer demand into practical supply plans, and work across our international teams to ensure demand can be met effectively.

You will play an important part in developing our inventory strategy, balancing product availability, customer service, inventory levels, working capital and cost.

You will also lead regular order execution and supply planning meetings, bringing together commercial, manufacturing, procurement and logistics teams to identify risks, agree priorities and ensure actions are followed through.

This is not simply a reporting or production scheduling role. We are looking for someone who can understand what the data is telling them, identify risks early and turn insight into clear recommendations and actions.

• Own and coordinate demand, supply and inventory planning activities for the T-FIT business.

• Translate sales forecasts and customer demand into realistic supply and production plans.

• Make informed inventory and supply decisions across our international network, balancing customer requirements, availability, inventory levels and cost.

• Develop and maintain an effective inventory strategy, including appropriate stock levels and management of excess and slow moving inventory.

• Lead weekly order execution and supply planning meetings, ensuring risks, priorities, decisions and actions are clearly understood.

• Identify supply constraints, material shortages, capacity issues and inventory risks before they impact customers or revenue.

• Monitor forecast accuracy and constructively challenge significant changes or assumptions.

• Work closely with commercial, manufacturing, procurement and logistics teams internationally.

• Monitor inventory performance, product availability, customer service and associated supply chain costs.

• Maintain accurate planning data and parameters within ERP and MRP systems.

• Support the continued development of S&OP and S&OE processes.

• Produce clear planning reports and KPIs, turning data into recommendations and actions rather than simply reporting the numbers.

• Drive continuous improvement across planning processes, data quality and planning discipline.

• At least five years’ experience in supply chain planning or a closely related role.

• Strong experience in demand planning, supply planning and/or inventory planning.

• Experience taking ownership of supply or inventory decisions.

• Experience developing or contributing to an inventory strategy.

• Experience leading regular planning, supply or order execution meetings.

• Good commercial awareness, including an understanding of the cost and working capital impact of inventory and supply decisions.

• Experience using ERP and/or MRP planning systems.

• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

• The ability to turn sales forecasts and customer requirements into practical operational plans.

• Confidence to challenge assumptions constructively, make recommendations and drive agreed actions.

• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across international teams.

• Strong spoken and written English, as the role works regularly with colleagues and stakeholders across the UK, Europe, USA and Asia.

• Experience with S&OP or S&OE processes.

• Experience working within an international or multi-site supply chain.

• Experience within manufacturing or an industrial environment.

• Experience within polymers, plastics, foam, advanced materials, chemicals, speciality chemicals, automotive or engineered products.

• A degree or professional qualification in supply chain, business, engineering or a related subject.

You are proactive, analytical and comfortable taking ownership.

You can look beyond the spreadsheet, understand what the data is telling you and use it to make sensible supply and inventory decisions based on customer demand, risk, cost and availability.

You will be comfortable bringing different teams together, asking constructive questions and making sure agreed actions happen.
