Dawn's Inspire Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of the Global Bakery Industry. Dawn Inspire Internship Program interns will benefit from:

Shift Schedule (If Applicable): Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm, with willingness to flex work hours based upon, regional location, or Leader direction.
Work Eligibility & Travel Requirements: Hybrid- 3 days a week in office at our Dallas, Texas Distribution Center.
Interns will be required to be onsite at the Corporate Jackson office from May 19 - May 22 for onboarding, and from August 6 - 8 for final presentations. These are mandatory participation dates for the internship program.
What Does It Take to be an Intern at Dawn Foods?
Below are the minimum qualifications for the Dawn Inspire Internship Program.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree, with an interest in working in the Consumer Product Goods or Food industry. Current academic status must reflect good performance in relation to institutional academic standards.
- Strong interest in the industry or field related to the internship.
- Basic knowledge of relevant concepts, principles, and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
What Will Set You Apart?
- Microsoft office including excel and Outlook. Good communication skills and ability to input and analyze data. High degree of detail orientation.
What You'll Do as an Intern
- Conduct research on assigned topics and present findings to the team.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
- Shadow and learn from experienced professionals in your field of interest.
- Actively seek opportunities to learn and develop new skills relevant to your career goals.
- Take initiative to suggest process improvements and contribute innovative ideas.
- Demonstrate the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and support our culture throughout the duration of the Internship Program.
- Identified projects that you will be responsible for:
- Working with Fulfillment Analysts by assisting with replenishing process of repeatable goods, by creating purchase orders (POs) for buy/sell items from vendors and stock transfer orders (STOs) for Dawn-to-Dawn items ensuring PO/STO accuracy in Blue Yonder and SAP systems.

Compensation:
Undergraduate - $25/hr
Graduate - $27/hr
