Position / Assignment Purpose:
- Manage storage and distribution of goods (inbound, outbound)
- Production planning, order fulfillment, delivery, cost control with CM factory
- Penang site materials shortage management
Position / Assignment Summary:
1. Inventory management of raw materials consigned to contract manufacturing business partners
2. Overall order fulfillment and delivery performance and cost control
3. Position will actively manage and transact within company systems materials flowing through the supply chain
4. Must have high level of attention to detail, and critical thinking to analyze reporting for errors
Key Accountabilities / Statement of Work:
- Responsible for managing consigned inventory at Malaysia manufacturing sites
- SAP transactions management for inventory movement through production sites ensuring systematic records are accurate tracking
- Inventory cycle count management at the Malaysian facility and offsite locations
- Work closely with the CM factory to build shipment schedules to meet OTD requests, full flow management from materials pull in to FGs out
- Product management from NPI to EOL in the Penang site, including excess clearance
- Product change implementation including ECO/TDN, PCN, component LTB in the Penang site
- SAP SO/PO system handling
- Process readiness for NPI in Penang
- Production capacity review weekly and long-term production capabilities, working with the engineering team to make production plans
- Work with the CM factory, internal purchasing and planning team for materials shortage review and follow up
- Support of Logistics/Planning function and inventory transactions for all other sites as required
- Consignment shipment management: reconciliation report with the CM factory
- CM factory billing validation, cost analysis/reporting and cost saving project involvement
- Other assignments by manager
Required Education and Experience:
- Excellent Malay, English & Chinese speaking and writing skills
- 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain
- 5+ years’ experience in Inventory management
- Microsoft tool experience, Excel, PowerPoint
Required Skills and Competencies:
SAP transactions experience is preferred
