Job DescriptionAs Manufacturing Value Stream Supervisor, you will lead the Value Stream team in our Elgin, Illinois Operations.Responsibilities:
- End to end ownership of a Manufacturing value stream including but not limited to the direct management of production and training teams.
- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with other manufacturing and supply chain functional teams in the pursuit and attainment of shared goals.
- Managing multiple product lines within a value stream, ensuring that each meets weekly, monthly, quarterly goals.
- Collaboration with functions outside the Motorola Solutions supply chain to ensure attainment of business revenue targets.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for the value stream to achieve KPI goals in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost.
- Documentation and standardization of value stream processes and procedures.
- Establish yourself as a leader within the Manufacturing organization, with the expectation of career progression.
- Mentor, train, and develop world-class employees for career progression.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Great Communication skills verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to work in at team environment aligning to changing business conditions preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Preparing training materials for new hires
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles, systems, and tools preferred
- Weekly reports
Basic RequirementsRequired Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Supply Chain Management
- 4 plus years of experience working in a Manufacturing or Operations environment required.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
