The Role
About Us

Are you ready to build the future of supply chain? At Gather AI, we're not just creating software; we're pioneering a new era of warehouse intelligence. We've developed a groundbreaking, vision-powered platform that uses autonomous drones and existing equipment to capture real-time data, completely digitizing workflows that have historically been manual and error-prone. This means facilities operate smarter, safer, and more efficiently, ultimately redefining "on-time, in full" delivery.

If you're looking for an opportunity to contribute to truly transformative technology and make a significant impact in a vital industry, Gather AI is the place for you. We're leading the charge in the rapidly evolving robotics industry, and we invite you to join us in reshaping the global supply chain, one intelligent warehouse at a time.

About You

As our Supply Chain Manager you will build and scale the systems that keep our hardware operations running seamlessly. In this role, you’ll own everything from vendor and contract manufacturer relationships to procurement, inventory, and logistics — ensuring that every drone and component moves through our supply chain with precision and reliability. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to create scalable processes that enable Gather AI to meet accelerating customer demand and launch new products efficiently.

This is a hands-on opportunity to shape the foundation of a rapidly growing organization and play a direct role in delivering cutting-edge technology to some of the world’s leading logistics and supply-chain operators.

What You'll Do
  • Demand Forecasting:
Partner with Sales and Operations to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and align inventory levels to meet deployment timelines.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management:
Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring continuity of supply and proactive risk mitigation. Collaborate with vendors for quoting, lead-time management, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Procurement & Finance Coordination:
Oversee purchase order creation, approval workflows, and procurement budgeting in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Contract Manufacturing Oversight:
Partner with contract manufacturers to manage production schedules, ensure on-time delivery, and verify adherence to quality standards defined by Engineering.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) Support:
Work closely with Engineering to bring up new products, manage engineering change orders (ECOs), and onboard new vendors or components.
  • Operations Readiness:
Ensure all materials, subassemblies, and hardware are staged and available for customer deployments and ongoing support.
    Inventory Management:
Oversee the company’s inventory process, including stock levels, audits, and system accuracy.
  • RMA, Shipping & Receiving:
Own the RMA workflow and manage all inbound/outbound logistics to ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and return processes.

 What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing hardware or electronics supply chains.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling contract manufacturers and global vendors.
  • Strong understanding of procurement workflows, BOM management, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience in demand planning, cost control, and supplier performance management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience scaling supply chain operations in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Background in robotics, drones, MHE or complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Experience with ERP platforms
  • Knowledge of import/export logistics and international shipping.

Why Join Gather AI?
  • Be part of a fast-growing company that is defining the future of an industry.
  • Work with a talented and collaborative team on challenging problems.
  • A culture that values innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and equity.

If you are a strategic, audience-obsessed marketer who is excited to make a significant impact, we'd love to hear from you.
