Reporting
to Commercial Director and functionally to the Regional Supply Chain
Director, the Supply Chain Superintendent will lead all aspects of the Supply
Chain department to ensure the delivery of quality goods and services at the
lowest possible cost, while adhering to the company's strategy, standards, and
requirements in all processes.
- Supervise
and control Supply Chain activities in partnership with the Purchasing Center
and Outsourced Logistics.
- Manage
contracts, inventory, and warehouse organization to guarantee resource
availability and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate
and collaborate closely with the Purchasing Center and Outsourced Logistics to
align local operations with company standards.
- Ensure
the smooth execution of outsourced Purchasing and Logistics operations.
Communicate operational requirements and monitor the actions taken by service
providers. Validate purchase requests and monitor orders placed by suppliers in
the Pronto ERP system, and ensure compliance with contractual terms (price,
delivery time, quality).
- Collaborate
closely with the Supplier Contract Execution team and logistics providers.
- Supervise
inventories and guarantee the accuracy of stock data in the Pronto ERP system
- Monitor
inventory levels, optimize warehouse operations, and coordinate storage to
prevent shortfalls or overstock: Daily Cycle counts.
- Verify
the accuracy of inventory data and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure
the correct creation of inventory items and prevent duplication.
- Ensure
the availability of products and materials necessary for operations.
- Implement
monitoring indicators to prevent stockouts and optimize inventory levels
- Responsible
for supply chain processes, planning, material requirements, inventory
management, demand and order management, supply chain performance, and
logistics.
- Participate
in developing an inventory reduction strategy.
- Monitor
the organization and security of warehouses.
- Manage
the storage and movement of materials in and out of the warehouse correctly.
- Ensure
compliance with storage standards and the smooth organization of inbound and
outbound flows.
- Monitor
storage conditions and compliance with safety standards. Actively participate
in and lead safety meetings and discussions when necessary;
- Create
and maintain standardized health and safety work instructions and operating
procedures;
- Conduct
short- and long-term planning and inventory analyses for warehouse utilization;
- Actively
engage with the company's goals and objectives to engage with the local
community and strive to leave a positive long-term impact on the local
population. Foster integration between this engagement and the company's
success;
- Manage
the team and relationships with other departments to ensure all compliance
documentation and process governance are in place;
- Responsible
for the department's budget, including forecasts for all aspects of the supply
chain, both in terms of expenses and inventory;
- Produce
regular reports on inventory, contracts, and logistics operations, both daily
and monthly.
- Participate
in the continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
- Monitor
outsourced transportation and distribution operations.
- Ensure
on-time delivery and service quality
- Produce
regular reports on purchasing, inventory, and logistics.
- Track
operational KPIs and propose adjustments.
Profil
- Good knowledge and good relations
with service providers.
- Must know how to proactively engage
suppliers in identifying potential problems, solutions and opportunities.
- Must know how to develop
communication solutions that create value, reduce problems and preemptively
solve consistent problems.
- Ability to communicate
professionally with all types of people via phone, email, face-to-face, and
video conferencing.
- Very good working knowledge of
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
solutions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
Training / Education
Requirements:
- Supply Chain Certification would be
an asset
- B license at least.
- Bac + 4 or equivalent in supply chain or engineering or international
law with certifications in management or supply chain.
Experience required:
- 7-10 years of experience in the
supply chain/supply chain to the mining industry, including at least 5 years at
the supervisory level.
- Experience in inventory planning
and budgeting management
- Experience in the mining sector
will be an asset.
- The candidate must be an excellent speaker and communicator.
Language Requirements:
- Bilingual French/English
- Knowledge of Malinké is an asset
Skills Required

- Bac + 4 or equivalent in supply chain, engineering or international law with certifications in management or supply chain
