This role will be supporting continuous improvement practices for PPG's Industrial Coatings (Rest of Asia) business growth and act as a key advisor to the region's Supply Chain Director and other country leaders by providing data-driven insights and recommendations. This role reports to the region's Supply Chain Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for collecting inventory related data, inventory value, DOI, inventory age etc., and organizing, filtering, and classifying these data into useful data indicators.
- Analyze and process the data to understand the status and trends of inventory, propose targeted suggestions or solutions.
- Develop inventory control strategies based on data analysis results, coordinate relevant departments to optimize procurement, shipping, and other processes and reduce inventory backlog and unsold products,
- Inventory review committee and salvage plan with technical, operation and business team for the selling expense reduction and cost avoidance.
- Reporting based on the obtained data indicators and analysis results, prepare various inventory data analysis reports, and provide professional advice and recommendations.
- Building good relationship within supply chain, commercial and peer functions via routine activities and collaboration.
- Design and implement commercial policy to harmonize supply chain processes across multiple IC ROA countries.
- Act as change leader to continuous improvement practices to support IC ROA Business growth well
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive supply chain experience in multinational environments.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes: demand/supply planning, logistics, customer service, and distribution.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Skilled in data analytics, visualization and ERP/S&OP systems.
- Coordination, Collaboration, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin, written and speaking.
