About This Role
As the Supply Chain Manager GCC, you will lead and oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations across the GCC cluster, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Qatar. You will play a critical role in ensuring business continuity, driving operational excellence, and maintaining uninterrupted product supply across the region.
This role combines strategic supply chain leadership with strong operational execution across S&OP, logistics, customer service, regulatory coordination, tender management, and distributor management. You will work closely with affiliate leadership teams, regional and global supply chain stakeholders, and external partners to drive alignment, mitigate risks, and ensure products reach patients efficiently and compliantly.
Operating in a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment, this role requires strong influencing skills, resilience, sound decision-making, and the ability to navigate complexity across local and global stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Lead the local S&OP process in alignment with regional and global supply chain frameworks and guidelines
Drive cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Finance, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Global Supply Chain teams
Build and maintain consensus forecasts, ensuring inventory levels, forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and E&O targets are achieved
Develop and manage replenishment and import plans based on aligned forecasts, inventory policies, and business requirements
Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations across GCC markets, including import coordination, order management, customer service, shipment management, and ERP transactions
Manage financial reconciliation activities, invoice controls, PO management, credit/debit memos, and SOX-compliant supply chain processes
Lead relationships with distributors, customs brokers, logistics providers, and regulatory stakeholders across the GCC region, particularly Saudi Arabia
Partner closely with local regulatory teams to ensure compliance with GCC import/export regulations and supply continuity
Drive supply chain, logistics, and customer service improvement initiatives across regional and global stakeholders
Lead cross-functional projects focused on process optimization, systems improvements, and operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with Global Trade Compliance policies, customs regulations, GDP standards, and internal SOPs
Support tender management activities end-to-end, partnering with distributors, Commercial, Market Access, Finance, and Regulatory teams
Represent Supply Chain within affiliate leadership discussions, influencing key business decisions and driving cross-functional alignment
Identify operational risks proactively and develop mitigation and contingency plans to ensure business continuity
Act as a key Supply Chain SME across logistics, operations, customer service, compliance, and ERP systems within the GCC region
Who You Are
You are a resilient and hands-on Supply Chain leader with strong experience across S&OP, logistics, operations, and customer service within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. You are comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced, and highly matrixed environments, balancing local execution with regional and global stakeholder alignment. You bring strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to represent Supply Chain at senior leadership level and challenge decisions when needed. You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of anticipating risks while driving operational excellence and business continuity across the GCC region.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 5–8 years of Supply Chain experience, including 3–5 years in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
Strong end-to-end Supply Chain experience across S&OP, logistics, operations, shipment management, and customer service
Deep understanding of the GCC regulatory landscape and systems, particularly within Saudi Arabia
Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English
Proven experience managing distributor, logistics provider, and customs broker relationships across the GCC region
Strong cross-functional knowledge across Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Operations
Experience working within regional and global matrix organizations, collaborating effectively across functions and geographies
Strong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge and drive alignment at senior leadership level
Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and change in fast-paced environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to anticipate risks and develop contingency plans
Experience leading process improvement and operational excellence initiatives; Lean Six Sigma / Green Belt considered an asset
