Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 4) to join a high-performing Fabrication Supply Chain Functional Excellence team in Auburn, Washington on first shift.
This role supports multiple Fabrication business units through advanced supply chain analysis, forecasting support, supply and demand troubleshooting, and transaction flow management. The successful candidate will be highly project management oriented, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, develop and maintain project plans, define scope and priorities, coordinate stakeholders, manage timelines and deliverables, identify risks and barriers, facilitate issue resolution, provide status updates, and drive implementation of process improvements that strengthen and help transform the Fabrication Supply Chain environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads and executes complex supply chain projects across multiple Fabrication divisions, ensuring alignment to business objectives, timelines, and material readiness.
- Project manages cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation, including scope definition, milestone tracking, deliverable management, risk identification, and issue resolution.
- Works with multiple Fabrication sites to gather requirements and develop process improvements and features that support standardization of similar fulfillment processes across the enterprise.
- Provides regular project status updates to executive leadership, including milestone progress, deliverable achievement, risks, barriers, and site-specific implementation status.
- Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful implementation across all impacted areas of the business.
- Independently identifies, analyzes, and resolves complex supply chain issues related to forecast accuracy, demand/supply imbalances, and transaction flow.
- Develops and presents recommendations to management and cross-functional teams based on data analysis, risk assessment, and business impact.
- Drives continuous improvement and change management efforts by identifying process gaps, implementing corrective actions, and measuring results against operational objectives.
- Applies advanced analytical and systems-thinking skills to evaluate tradeoffs, anticipate downstream impacts, and support strategic decision-making.
- Serves as a trusted advisor for advanced supply chain issues, projects, and business process improvements.
- Researches and evaluates emerging technologies, tools, and methods to improve planning, forecasting, reporting, and supply chain execution.
- Mentors and supports less experienced team members through knowledge sharing, coaching, and best-practice development.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management analysis or materials management analysis
- 5+ years of experience with supply chain forecasting and/or supply and demand planning
- 3+ years of experience interpreting Bill of Materials
- 3+ years of experience with an industry ERP system or equivalent such as SAP
- Experience leading cross-functional projects or process improvement initiatives involving multiple stakeholders or sites.
- Experience gathering requirements, coordinating implementation activities, and tracking deliverables against project milestones.
- Experience analyzing data and presenting recommendations to leadership or executive stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
