Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Supply Chain Lead, SAP Business Process Owner is responsible for leading the definition and implementation of system and process improvements relating to SAP in Novelis North America. This role partners closely with business and IT to translate requirements into scalable solutions across supply chain. As a subject matter expert, the role enables adoption through training, guidance, and governance.

As subject matter expert they have or develop a deep understanding of SAP and Novelis specific processes including master data, transactions and interfaces.

Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives to identify, document and promote best practices within SAP
  • Understand transactions, interfaces and how data flows through systems.
  • Identify opportunities for improved data governance, automation and standardization across end-to-end processes
  • Partner with IT to lead the design and delivery of SAP enhancements
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify and drive process improvement opportunities
  • Assess and manage impacts of changes across integrated systems (e.g., TMS, MES, Quintiq)
  • Develop and deliver training curriculum and materials to enable adoption of new/existing processes
  • Support with compliance and audit processes such as IATF16949, MMOG/LE and internal audits
  • Own the SC playbook and establish processes to regularly review and update its content
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain
  • Proven experience with SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA)
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new applications in SAP and other systems 
  • Self-driven innovator and problem solver with a desire for continuous improvement and efficiency 
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, problem solving, and solution design
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and system integration
  • Ability to translate business needs into system and process solutions
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
