The Supply Chain Intern participates in a structured rotation program across logistics center functions at the Midwest Logistics Center (MWLC). The intern gains hands-on experience at the individual contributor level in inbound, outbound, inventory control, and engineering operations, with the goal of connecting floor-level work to overall building flow and supply chain planning. This role is designed to develop practical understanding of DC operations in a real-world logistics environment and serves as a replicable model for future internship placements within DBI’s logistics network.
Skills Required
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to follow directions, perform physical tasks, and adapt to work environments
- Basic communication and observation skills; ability to ask questions and document learnings
