The position
As our new Supply Chain Planner, you will join 9 highly motivated and talented colleagues in GCM Supply Chain Planning Drug Product, currently located in Søborg. For full disclosure, please be aware we intend to relocate our office to Høje Taastrup in December 2024. You will contribute to our main goal is to guarantee the shipment of goods to our customers within the worldwide supply network.
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the supply chain planners with operational tasks in SAP (e.g. purchase order creation and updates, outbound/inbound deliveries, and running of SAP reports for analytical decisions)
  • Assisting the supply chain planners with operational tasks in Excel (e.g. creation of graphs, and tables and building robust formula structures to digitalize the reporting and KPI tracking)
  • Reporting (support in the creation/update of one-pagers and slide decks for senior management)
  • Supporting the optimization and digitalization of processes (e.g. creation of scenario forecasting tools, graphs and possibly exploiting visual tool solutions in PowerBI or Tableau)
  • Providing ad hoc support for gathering and consolidating data input from different stakeholders, both within and outside GCM


Practicalities:

  • Internship period: 6 months (with the possibility of an additional 6 months extension)
  • Working hours: full-time, up to 24 hours per week (with the flexibility within the exam period)
  • Preferred start date: 01 October 2024
  • Location: Søborg, Denmark until December 2024 (will be moving to Høje Taastrup)
  • Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows
  • Full-time Danish work permit is required for non-EU residents


We expect that you will work around 3 days per week in the office, with possibility to work from home one of the three days. Please note that, students must be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period. Both the internship period and working hours will be flexible to accommodate school projects/exams.
Qualifications
You are a Student who is currently enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's degree with a focus on Supply Chain or Logistics and analytical backgrounds. We are looking for an Intern with a holistic supply chain perspective who is motivated by improving our supply chain, ensuring stable and reliable planning, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you need:

  • Good communication and adept coordination skills
  • A quality mindset and strong analytical skills
  • Leadership skills with the ability to navigate complex tasks, manage shifting priorities, and handle strict deadline
  • Proficiency in both written & spoken English

About the Department
You will be a part of our international supply chain department in the Global Contract Manufacturing Drug Product (GCM DP) area, where we have an informal tone, and where we respect each other's differences and encourage each other's professional development.
GCM is part of Novo Nordisk's Product Supply Organization and is responsible for all Novo Nordisk contract and license manufacturing of intermediates and drug substances. The primary role of the GCM Supply Chain is to ensure the delivery of products to our respective customers in the global supply chain. We are responsible for all logistics and supply chain tasks for our CMOs and the sourcing of products into Novo Nordisk according to the demand from our production sites and customers worldwide.
