About the Role
The Analyst, Supply Chain Excellence - Strategy, Development & Performance Management plays a critical role in business success by utilizing Supply Chain data and converting it into Business Insights. It requires a deep understanding of KPIs and Metrics while critical to know interdependencies so quick root cause analysis can be provided to support timely corrective actions. Goal is to keep refining KPIs and tweaking of Metrics to steer Harman Supply Chain towards its strategic goals.
As a key member of the Supply Chain Excellence function, the role supports complex, cross-functional initiatives that directly impact the global supply chain team and influence broader business operations. In addition to strategic execution, the team is responsible for driving development of the supply chain organization (~85 people), including the design of capability roadmaps and role-based competency frameworks to build and sustain supply chain excellence.
Success in this role requires strong analytical skills and affinity to connect correlations quickly. This role offers an opportunity to further develop and grow in strategic thinking and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

What You Will Do
Performance Management & Reporting
- Develop strong technical skills and knowledge of Harman’s Business Intelligence systems (Qlik Sense, SAP IBP Analytics Story) and data pipeline in order to create visuals based datasets that provide powerful business insights while also able to work with Digital Teams to define new datasets for future KPIs, metrics and reports
- Connect the results of KPIs and Metrics to see how they influence eachother and be able to identify cause and effect which will support Problem-Solving, Predictions and Decision-Making in Supply Chain as a whole
- Support the Supply Chain and Greater Excellence Community with your strong knowledge and understanding of data analytics and tools, SQL, VBA, Python driving automation and efficiency
- Take ownership for your work, understand the criticality of deadlines and the power of communication
Project Management, Execution & Performance Tracking
- Support strategic and transformational initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency, network resilience, scalability, and cost optimization across operations functions
- Understand and use structured project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMP) to enhance execution excellence
- Take part in leading supply chain projects with low to moderate complexity, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and deliver measurable impact
- Identify risks, ensure proactive problem-solving to address challenges before they escalate
Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Alignment
- Understand business needs and translate analytical findings into actionable strategies
- Support projects and presentations by preparing concise, data-backed materials that drive informed decision-making
- Build strong relationships across departments to ensure consistent alignment between analytical insights, operational execution, and organizational goals
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, performance, and business outcomes through collaboration
What You Need to Be Successful
- A degree in Business Informatics/Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Stable understanding of SAP ERP, SAP IBP and SAP S/4 HANA systems
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Qlik Sense, PowerBI, Tableau)
- Profound knowledge in Excel incl. VBA and Powerpoint with SQL and Python as additional benefit
- Great verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English, enabling effective engagement across all organizational levels
- Experience of project coordination methodologies
- Background in the automotive sector is beneficial
