As a Supply Chain Engineer you will be responsible for;
We are looking for an individual who has the fundamental procurement skills in cradle-to-grave procurement activities (services, construction, supplies, etc.). Cradle-to-grave procurement encompasses the entire lifecycle of acquiring goods and services, from initial need recognition to final contract closure. Here are some fundamental skills involved:
- Need Recognition: Identifying and understanding the requirements for goods or services.
- Planning: Developing procurement strategies and plans to meet organizational goals.
- Sourcing: Researching and selecting suppliers and managing relationships with them.
- Negotiation: Securing favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Contract Award: Formalizing agreements with chosen suppliers.
- Contract Management: Overseeing the execution of contracts to ensure compliance and performance.
- Contract Closure: Completing and closing contracts once obligations are fulfilled.
Qualifications;
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Proven track record of providing procurement results
- Experience in manufacturing/mechanical engineering, specifically around construction of manufacturing facilities
- Strong understanding of procurement related actions such as conducting market research, issuing RFI’s, RFP’s or RFQ’s
- Ability to work proactively and on an individualized basis
Salary Range: $70K - $80K
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
