Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Supply Chain Enable Business System Manager in either Hazelwood, MO, Mesa, AZ, or Ridley Park, PA. This position manages employees performing supply chain enablement activities supporting both Government and Commercial customers within BGS.
This role develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals. The role acquires resources for projects and processes, provides functional management of purchased services, and leads product improvements. The role also develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports, as well as providing oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Finally, this role manages, develops and motivates employees.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and purchase services performing technical or specialist activities within BGS Supply Chain as a Business System Manager for Business Sustainment
- Responsible for the management and governance of supply chain applications: SPM/PDL, OnePDL, ACQ, CAAT, MSMS, SCARS, ESCM, AMD
- Manages multiple business systems, budgets and capability requests using ESATS, CAIRO, Clarity, and other systems
- Sustains government and commercial supply chain applications, including system stand-up requirements for all technical environments, including international business
- Assumes the role of providing post-deployment software support for modifications or upgrades made to a system's software following the system's initial fielding
- Responsible for Corrective Maintenance, Adaptive Maintenance, Perfective Maintenance, and Preventative Maintenance
- Develops and executes project plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources as funded, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements and innovation with the team
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Advises on new business proposals and/or capability needs for system enhancements, problem mitigations and/or critical path planning & projects

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership role leading various teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
- 1+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in business, technical, supply chain or related field
- 1+ years of experience do you have with government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g., Estimating system manual, FAR, DFAR, TINA, ITAR, Procurement integrity, Export Compliance) relating to the development of cost proposals
- Experience with agile methodology
- Experience supporting both internal and external audits
- Experience with supply chain execution and/or planning systems (process or tools) to ensure meeting customer requirements
- Experience managing purchased service staff
