Your role:

The Risk Manager is responsible for refining, operationalizing, and actively driving an existing supplier risk management framework across the organization. The role ensures a holistic and transparent view of risks by maintaining a consolidated risk portfolio, proactively identifying emerging risk trends, and coordinating cross functional risk assessments. A strong proactive mindset is essential to anticipate and mitigate risks early, complemented by solid reactive troubleshooting capabilities to manage, analyze, and resolve critical risk situations as they arise.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Refine, maintain, and continuously improve the existing supplier risk management concept to ensure relevance, robustness, and consistency across the organization.
  • Maintain a consolidated, transparent risk portfolio, integrating risk inputs from all relevant functions and business areas.
  • Proactively identify emerging risks, trends, and interdependencies, and initiate preventive actions aligned with the organization’s risk appetite.
  • Coordinate and lead cross functional risk assessments, ensuring consistent evaluation of risk impact, likelihood, and mitigation effectiveness.
  • Provide a consolidated view of financial risk exposure at portfolio level, supporting informed management and strategic decision making.
  • Drive and execute risk deep dives, scenario analyses, and thematic evaluations to address critical or complex risk topics.
  • Act as a central point of leadership during critical risk situations, applying strong reactive troubleshooting skills to structure analyses, assess impacts, and support resolution.
  • Deliver clear, timely, and decision oriented risk reporting to senior management and relevant governance bodies.

Requirements
  • 5–8+ years of experience in strategic procurement within a manufacturing environment, or in a risk management role with focus on Procurement and Supply Chain risks.
  • Proven experience as a Risk Manager, including hands on responsibility for risk assessment, control, and mitigation.
  • Solid experience in risk monitoring, reporting, and governance processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of risk criteria and assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align cross functional teams.
  • Strong prioritization, time management, and project management skills, including use of relevant tools and IT systems.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), with the ability to moderate and mediate in cross functional forums and escalation meetings

Skills Required
