We are seeking a qualified Supplier Quality Manager to join our team. The Supplier Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality of materials and components supplied to our organization. This role involves establishing and maintaining supplier quality standards, evaluating supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, supplier relationship management, and a keen ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supplier quality management strategies and processes
  • Establish supplier quality standards and specifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Evaluate potential new suppliers and conduct supplier audits and assessments
  • Monitor and assess supplier performance and conduct regular supplier performance reviews
  • Lead and coordinate supplier corrective action requests (SCAR) and root cause analysis activities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve product quality
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supplier quality
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to supplier quality activities
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on supplier quality management best practices


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in supplier quality management or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality assurance principles
  • Experience in conducting supplier audits and assessments
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and drive supplier performance improvements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma) is a plus
