Partner with the best
As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), you'll be entrusted to drive quality for assigned suppliers in raw materials category with various methods including quality plan implementation, pFMEA, and root cause analysis. You will have plenty of opportunities to work with various companies via audit and qualifying raw materials through quality management system assessment and/or process qualification.
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
Including both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development.
Including supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence. SQEs have various levels of differentiation which are related to level of technical understanding of engineering drawings and ability to manage suppliers.
Elaborating proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the raw materials category.
Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
Contributing to project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have Bachelors in Engineering with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Have strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal, leadership skills and strong problem-solving skills.
Be able to work independently
Have technical knowledge in either metallurgy or material science (metal, or rubber or polymer or powder metallurgy).
IRCA certified lead auditor Lean six sigma or green belt or black belt, preferred.
Have Non-destructive testing level II or III in UT/RT/MT/PT/ET preferred.
