Act as the primary liaison for Electronics & Controls between the plant-based Cost of Quality (COQ) team and the Sourcing/Supplier Quality Organization.
Lead suppliers to consistently deliver high-quality, cost-effective parts on schedule.
Drive supplier quality improvement projects that enhance performance in delivery, quality, and cost.
Implement corrective actions with underperforming suppliers or qualify alternate sources.
Monitor supplier process controls, creating and sustaining effective quality plans.
Ensure permanent resolution of issues impacting manufacturing or consumers due to supplier defects.
Lead projects tied to supplier changes, process improvements, and material transitions.
Partner with suppliers and internal teams on Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve outcomes.
Support supplier part failure analysis, ensuring effective containment and corrective action plans.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering (appliance industry experience is a plus).
Proven foundation in quality control methods, statistical analysis, and problem-solving.
Familiarity with ISO and other quality management system standards.
Experience with industry regulations preferred.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to support off-shift and weekend work when needed.
