Job Description
On-SEM-Site Supplier Quality Engineer providing a collaborative environment for SEM including:
- Collaborate with production supervisors and workers for real-time inspection and verification points during processing.
- Drive closure with AIS stakeholders when questions arise during assembly
- Verify worker compliance with manufacturing procedures
- Monitor reaction plans when product is found non-compliant (rework plan, MRB, etc.)
- Lead quality product training with operators
- Evaluate process for optimization, i.e. mistake proofing, variation tracking, task efficiencies
- Engage with SEM Process and SEM Quality Engineers with CAPA reports
- Oversee SEM RMA process for customer returns
- Maintain RMA Tracking Log
- Monitor RMA TAT metric
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, quality training acceptable
- Minimum of 6 years hands-on with product quality control within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Quality Management System (Ex. ISO-9001, etc.)
- Effective root cause analysis skills
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to details
- IPC-A-610 CIS
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree
- Quality training (acceptable alternative to degree)
- Minimum of 6 years hands-on product quality control experience in manufacturing
- Proficiency with Quality Management System (e.g., ISO-9001)
- Effective root cause analysis skills
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- IPC-A-610 CIS
