Main Responsabilities
- Executes Supplier Assessment audits for prospective and current suppliers and works with suppliers to implement corrective actions for audit issues.
- Works on large scale supplier quality improvement projects by leading, facilitating or participating
- Participates in developing commodity quality strategies and related projects.
- Supports development, deployment and execution of supplier quality training initiatives.
- Supports and represents quality function in developing sourcing strategies.
- Leads internal and external cross functional teams to find innovative solutions to current business problems.
- Acts as a liaison between Enterprise Quality team and assigned Deere units
- Supports assigned commodity quality deployment projects
What Skills You Need
- Knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
- Knowledge of Supply Management / Strategic Sourcing systems and processes.
- Knowledge of Quality audits (JDS-G223, PVA, SPA).
- Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis.
- Experience in using 8D methodology and problem solving
- Experience in using quality tools (e.g. FMEA, Root Cause Analysis and Statistics);
- Experience in project management, and supplier improvement projects.

Education
- Bachelors in engineering or equivalent experience.
