Position Summary

Environment Control is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Unit Manager to support our growing operations throughout Minnesota and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a dependable leader who enjoys working alongside their team, maintaining high cleaning standards, and ensuring our clients receive exceptional service.

The Unit Manager plays a key role in supporting Area Managers and overseeing the day-to-day success of multiple assigned facilities. This position is approximately 80% field-based cleaning and operational support, requiring flexibility, leadership, and a strong commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning duties to maintain company quality standards.
  • Train, coach, and support new and existing employees.
  • Cover open routes, call-outs, and staffing shortages as needed.
  • Provide operational support to Area Managers.
  • Conduct regular building inspections to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure employees have the necessary cleaning supplies, equipment, and resources to perform their jobs successfully.
  • Address and resolve cleaning or staffing concerns in a timely manner.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Maintain positive relationships with employees and clients.
  • Travel between assigned facilities and be available to assist in different areas based on operational needs.
Qualifications
  • Previous cleaning, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to train, motivate, and support team members.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work occasional weekends when necessary.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical cleaning tasks.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-service oriented
  • Bilingual is a plus ( Not required)
