Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Supervisor, Training and Development to join our team!


The ideal candidate will bring 2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience, a strong understanding of adult learning principles, experience coaching and developing employees, and the ability to partner effectively across teams to support business and learning objectives. 


The Supervisor, Training and Development creates, administers, and delivers training programs and resources for the organization. The Supervisor, Training and Development continuously assesses the new hire and ongoing training needs for the organization. They work to create interactive training, facilitate training topics, and evaluate effectiveness of the program and retention of material through continuous enhancement of the training program. This role develops and facilitates training through multiple channels and demonstrates culture and competencies for trainees so they in turn become strong performers within the Lumicera pharmacy operations team and organization. The Supervisor, Training and Development will focus on working collaboratively with both operations teams, quality teams and supervisor level and above to continue to develop enhancements and improvements to the overall organization training program. The Supervisor, Training and Development will collaborate with pharmacy leadership and may assist with training for all departments and other entities as required to ensure successful performance of teams.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Plan, create, develop and facilitate training manuals, learning modules, and course materials for new employees and existing employees
  • Ensure essential resources have appropriate documentation and effective utilization by employees; including RxVector, Lighthouse, NaviClaim, Compass, phone technology and others as determined
  • Periodic reporting of quality metrics and quality monitoring of trainees for up to one year after training and driver of new operations employee success rate
  • Assist in establishing mentoring and conducting peer-to-peer quality review and auditing
  • Deliver training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques
  • Review, survey and evaluate trainees and overall team on knowledge retention, gaps and enhancements; incorporate and implement feedback into training program and Trainer’s personal growth
  • Manage the paperwork and verification of training requirements and completion
  • Flexibility to accommodate needs of a department with multiple locations. Position may include travel to other Lumicera/Navitus locations
  • Ensure training programs meet compliance with accreditation requirements, pharmacy policies and procedures, and Federal and State regulations
  • Ensure resources available to staff are current and clear through regular maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated experience in hands-on training, course development and delivery, adult learning, and evaluation methodologies
  • 2-years’ experience within Lumicera operations, previous job experience as a successful customer care specialist or other experience in a quality-oriented position preferred
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of MS Office Suite and Virtual meeting platforms preferred
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
