The Supervisor – Purchase to Pay (P2P) is responsible in ensuring invoices are paid timely.  They are instrumental in supporting the team in delivering Accounts Payable services during and after transition, accurately, efficiently and in accordance with the company’s policies, guidelines, and operating procedures.

This position reports to the Senior Manager – Accounts Payable and is under Cytiva operating company, located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and will be an on-site role.

This position is being offered through Pall, a Danaher group company providing services in Malaysia to beneficiary Cytiva.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day invoice processing activities in Basware while ensuring Service Level Agreement’s (SLA) are met via Daily Management Board
• Supervise and manage day-to-day queries management activities in ServiceNow platform
• Investigate and resolve complex problems, escalate to Senior Manager when necessary
• Partner with management / actively participate in discussions / projects to identify and implement process improvements / simplifications / Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Build relationships with stakeholders - provide advice, guidance, and support to help the internal business
• Manage and coach team members, shares knowledge effectively across other Accounts Payable (AP) functions and support the development of team members
• Ensure all Accounts Payable policies and procedures are adhered to and ensure smooth and timely completion of assigned tasks

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree or Professional Qualification of any field, preferably in Accounting or Finance 
• Proven track record with at least 5 years of working experience in P2P and in leadership role preferably within Shared Services environment 
• Proficient in ERP – Oracle
• Fluent in English – both written and verbal and proficiency in Mandarin will be advantageous  
• Possesses excellent attention to detail and sound judgment, self-starter, quick learner and team player with ability to drive initiatives and change 
• Ability to use initiative to spot opportunities and solve issues
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Basware – AP automation system
• SAP Hana
