Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:
- Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets contract specifications and established standards.
- Plan and present employee work schedule to corporate office.
- Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
- Perform or assist with maintenance duties as necessary.
- Investigate complaints about safety, service, or cleanliness of property.
- Take corrective action including documenting every occurrence in detail.
- Report to corporate office.
- Coordinate with corporate the hiring, promotion, or dismissal of employees.
- Communicate with quadrant manager.
- Walk facility daily to ensure that it is in working order.
- Use past inspection report(s) to inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facility to determine the type of work required.
- Coordinate with safety department to always keep up dated SDS books on site.
- Instruct staff in work policies and procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment.
- Organize and lead safety meeting with staff. Report information to Safety Manager.
- Issue supplies and equipment to workers.
- Evaluate employee performance and recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
- Confer with staff and management to resolve performance and personnel problems.
- Schedule larger projects under the advice of your Quadrant Manager as well as the Rest Area Operations Manager.
- Order supplies using provided supply order form. Fill out on hand and needed columns.
- Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency.
Qualifications: Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others.
- Equipment Maintenance - Scheduling routine maintenance on equipment at your site.
- Must have the ability to stand, sit, lean, bend, pull, and squat to perform this job.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to 5 ft. high.
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. for a distance of up to 25 ft.
*Must own/purchase a smart phone and know how to operate it, including sending and receiving text messages and emails.
*Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
