Summary:
Apiture is launching our 2025 Summer Internship program to give rising college juniors and seniors, an opportunity to be exposed to and learn under multiple areas of our software development business. For this internship we are specifically interested in candidates who are studying software engineering or computer science. Preference for Wilmington, NC based candidates for this role.
Responsibilities/Learning Objectives:
- To introduce and train in software development related skills (frontend, backend, databases, cloud, QA, platform, etc.)
- Learn the basic operations and mechanisms involved in engineering (building, testing and deploying)
- Learn the basics behind the tools we use on a daily basis in the execution of engineering roles (Jenkins, Jira, Git, AWS, Linux, Playwright, Typescript, etc.)
- Learn how a software company delivers software products from a variety of engineering teams but learning the basics of working on one of those teams.
Requirements:
- Rising college juniors and seniors studying software engineering or computer science.
- Exposure to object oriented programming, systems, databases, etc.
- Strong communication skills and not afraid to ask questions
- Strong attention to details and learning quickly
- Should be able to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects at a time
- A strong interest in learning about the software industry
