The Role

On-site in Birmingham, AL

Role: To learn the overall strategy of the department while assisting with the day-to-day functions and special projects.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Capture high-quality video and photography at company events, branch locations, and for marketing campaigns.
  • Edit video and photo content for use on social media, the company website, and internal communication platforms.
  • Organize and maintain the digital media library, ensuring easy access to footage and photos.
  • Work with marketing staff to brainstorm and storyboard new video and photo ideas.
  • Research best practices and current trends in video production and visual content marketing.
  • Support the development of marketing materials, presentations, and other visual assets as needed.
  • Provide on-site support for events, including setup, breakdown, and real-time content capture.
  • Assist in analyzing performance metrics for video and photo content, and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure release forms and necessary permissions are obtained for all subjects featured in productions.

      1. Provide friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all members and staff.
      2. Complete all tasks and assignments in a timely manner.
      3. Participate in team meetings.
      4. Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism and effective communication.

      Knowledge & Skills

      Experience - The role can be learned in hours, days, or weeks.

      Education - A high school education or GED. Must be currently attending an accredited college or university working towards a bachelor's degree in a business or a related field.

      Interpersonal Skills - Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.

      Other Skills - Must be professional, courteous and friendly, with the ability to communicate in an enthusiastic and effective manner. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer and telephone skills are required. Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Word and Excel.

      Physical Requirements - Light lifting required

      Working Environment - Must be able to work 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday from mid-May to the beginning of August.
